Watching your son get drafted into the NBA can be an awesome feeling and excitement was written all over Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers face.The New Orleans Hornets drafted Austin Rivers with the 10th overall pick.Much of Doc Rivers excitement was because he has a bond with the Hornets coach, Monty Williams. The two coaches are very great friends and go wayyyyyy back. "I couldn't have picked a better guy for me and for Austin...Monty's going to coach him. Austin is going to have to get used to that's good" Doc stated.
Austin Rivers said the trash talking has already begun and its coming from Papa Bear. He's excited about headed to New Orleans with close friend Anthony Davis(Kentucky) and think he's a great fit in New Orleans. This should be exciting! Stay tuned.
