Tired of wearing the same heels all the time? Are you ready to retire those boring black sling back pumps? Before you bag up your old heels, try a heel condom. I know you’re wondering, what the heck is a heel condom. They are an easy, cost effective way to jazz up a pair of heels without paying thousands of dollars for a pair of Christian Louboutins, Alexander McQueen or Manolo Blahniks. The heel condoms come in variations, from lace, feathers, fur or flowers. You simply slip them onto the heel of your shoe and strut your stuff. Remember our role as reccesionistas is to look fashionable for less, right? So if you’re iffy about a heel condom being delivered to your house, spruce your heels with studs. I spotted this look while attending a meeting at Brian Lamar’s Atlanta boutique Spotlight. My wondering eyes spotted a pair of boots decorated with studs. Although these boots were intentionally made like this it gave me an idea. You can add studs to your heels or add shoe jewelry to your Steve Madden pumps similar to VH1’s Emily B (Fabolous ex).
