Lil Wayne and Drizzy Drake are taking notes from Kanye and Jay Z and has decided to team up and record a joint album. There has been talks of this project for a while in the hip hop community but Birdman confirmed today that it will be dropping soon. It seems as if a lot of rap stars are teaming up to drop hot albums. Gucci Mane and rookie Waka Flocka Flame just dropped Ferrari Boyz and of course you have the most anticipated "Watch The Throne" from Jay Z and Kanye. Birdman told XXL, that the Wayne/Drake album will be a younger version of Ye and Jay "Watch The Throne".
"It's older versus younger," Baby told XXL. "I listened to a few songs [off "Watch the Throne"] and it feels like an older feel to me. I think with Drake and Wayne, they young. They young cats. You got 23 and 28. Then you got Jay-Z and them, who are older and really on their way out the game. Then you got Wayne and Drake and them, who are still youthful to the game. So, it's two different types of music all the way across the board."
